Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress is well known for her work in film and television in the latter half of the 1980s. The father of the family had separated from their mom. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that acting is what she was looking to pursue. The year was 1980 and Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with the degree of African American studies. She was also awarded a degree by the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. In African-American Studies, 1981. Graduate of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main roles in the film Ramonda in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
